Journal Service and Tourism: Current Challenges is one of the most authoritative and popular scientific and practical periodicals in Russia, dedicated to the issues of service and tourism. The journal is described as an international journal of research and practice on trends, strategies, procedures, best practices in service and tourism of Russia and worldwide. The objective of the scientific publication is to establish methodological approaches of the strategic management in tourism, study of tourism and hospitality geography in Russia and worldwide, generalize the best practices in functioning and standards of service development in tourism and hospitality, study tourism impact on preservation of the cultural and historical heritage sites. The journal covers the issues of geography of tourist resources in the regions, tourist and recreational complexes, clusters, the hospitality industry, aspects of the development of attractions, objects of historical and cultural heritage, the geography of tourism and hospitality. In modern conditions of transformation of both the Russian and the world market of tourist services, the journal covers the most pressing problems and discusses debatable issues of further development of human life and society. It contains subject based sections, reviews, opinions of tourist service experts. An important peculiarity of the publication is its orientation not only to the scientific audience, but to the experts in service and tourism - we are happy to provide all interested authors with an opportunity to be published in the journal.
